Shaun Chambers, CEO

Shaun Chambers founded SoundConnect in 2004 and has over 15 years of telecommunications experience. Under Chambers’ leadership, the SoundConnect organization has grown into one of the leading conferencing providers in the industry. Chambers plays an active role in setting strategic vision and growth initiatives for SoundConnect in addition to supporting the operations team.

Prior to founding SoundConnect, Chambers worked with several successful start-up’s and served in a variety of corporate telecommunication positions. Previous careers include positions with MCI, Net2000 Communications, Platinum Networks, VNX, & OneVoice Communications. Chambers earned his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Systems Management from Ohio University and pursued post-graduate studies at John Hopkins University for his Masters in Business Administration.

Chambers currently resides in Charleston, SC with his wife, Shea, and daughters, Avery and Perry. Outside of work, Chambers enjoys outdoor activities including cycling, running, swimming, boating, and spending time with his family. Chambers is an avid tri-athlete with hopes of one day competing in the Kona, Hawaii Iron Man.

Tom Sullivan, President

Tom leads SoundConnect’s sales and business development direction. Tom joined SoundConnect as President in September 2009. Prior to joining SoundConnect, Tom held senior management positions at both InterCall and Genesys Conferencing.

Tom’s experience is in the communications industry with a strong focus in conferencing. He is an established professional in sales as well as business development with both a national and international background. He is a proven leader in the development and growth of startup sales channels with an exceptional track record for direct, indirect and retail models.

Tom is responsible to expand the sales channel and evaluate strategic partnerships to improve SoundConnect’s overall offering of audio, web & video conferencing services while also leading customers in their unified communication direction. Tom will provide valuable leadership and direction to meet the growing demands of SoundConnect’s independent sales agents, direct sales teams and clients.

Sullivan currently resides in Quincy, MA with wife Carolyn and son Jeff. Tom is actively involved with his other son Tom Jr. in his business Sullivan’s Training Systems.
