Responsibilities

  • Driving new business and revenue through SoundConnect Indirect Sales Channel / Partner Channel.  Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue of a specific base of reseller partners as well as recruiting new partners.
  • Develop relationships at all levels within the partner’s Sales and Product Organizations to ensure maximum success.
  • Combine an in-depth knowledge of company, products and services with a clear understanding of industry trends to offer differentiated solutions to the client and maximize and grow relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with other business units and external vendors to provide partners with a superior experience and ensure commitments made to the client are handled appropriately. Become the partner advocate.
  • Define and maintain detailed account development plans for partners to support their financial sales and strategic goals.
  • Provide management with regular status reports of account activity, including project status, new business opportunities, projected revenue pipeline, and overall account climate.
  • Serve as an industry expert; including communicating relevant industry trends and best practices to partners that ultimately create demand for company’s services.
  • Manage partner needs, assist partner sales team in closing large sales opportunities, provide training as necessary, provide ongoing support of account.
  • The role is commission driven with a strong focus on growth.  Goals are based upon meeting or exceeding targeted sales objectives.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Indirect channel/partner sales experience selling in the technology industry.
  • Successfully manage Wholesale Partner relationships at senior levels
  • Strong fundamental technical knowledge with expertise in hosted technology solutions and/or telecommunications
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, channel conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Superlative written and oral communication skills with proven background in creating and writing presentations/proposals.
  • Ability to excel under pressure and maintain productivity with changing direction to support current business needs.
  • Exceptionally strong presentation skills (creating, purposing and delivering)
